Birthplace: Ala Mhigo.
Immediate Family: None that are living.
Distant Family: See above, at least that he's aware of.
Parenting: He had a pleasant upbringing. Loving parents who took care of his every need that they were able to.
Upbringing:
Infancy: ([0-2] What was it like when your character was a baby? Were they nurtured or dropped at birth?) ???????
Childhood: What was it like for your character growing as a kid?) He helped his parents with chores and with tending to tribal needs as he grew older. He always valued ensuring that his people were well taken care of if he could help it. Some thought he overworked himself, but he took pride in being able to provide for others.
Teens/early twenties: He was forced to flee Ala Mhigo as the Garlean Empire had began to invade. He wanted to stay behind to fight, but his mother begged him to flee, to save the rest of the tribe. His father stayed behind to try to fend them off so the others could flee, and his mother refused to leave his side.
He led their tribe across the deserts to the best of his ability, but unfortunately, many of them were lost along the journey, or shortly after their arrival in Ul'dah. Being refugees in Ul'dah had its definite downsides and very few upsides, but JT didn't let that stop him from providing for his tribe. He did what he had to do to survive, and quickly learned how to sell wares. He watched other merchants and studied their tactics. His skills from beyond the city in hunting and gathering proved vastly useful, as he could supply his wares virtually for free and slowly worked his way up to massive profits.
It wasn't long until he was able to hold his own in the city, though it caused a fairly large target on his back because of it. He had to resort to his charm and silver tongue to get himself out of many a sticky situation.
During this time, he traveled to Limsa Lominsa and Gridania as a travelling merchant and trader to expand his stock and met Sapho Rasasiri. They bonded early on and became incredibly close, though they only saw each other when JT was travelling to the Shroud.
Two years later, the Calamity struck while JT was in Ul'dah. After ensuring his tribe was safe, he hurried to the Shroud to ensure his dear friend was safe. Sapho had lost his memories due to a head injury, and was plagued by it for a long while. In a moment of weakness, Sapho sought after a voidsent and attempted to strike a deal to regain his lost memories. Luckily JT was with him and found him in the Deepcroft in time to spare him, though they were both blinding in one eye as a result. Afterward, he begged Sapho to join him in Ul'dah, and they became Sultansworn together.
Mid/late twenties: Around the time of the Bloody Banquet, JT had decided to take his skills as a lancer to the next level and began his journey as a Dragoon. He was studying in Coerthas while Sapho was in Ul'dah, fleeing after the falling out with the Crystal Braves. They met up again in Ishgard. JT ended up becoming Aymeric's right hand man and worked side by side with Estinien as the Azure Dragoon. He did not trust Estinien as far as he could throw him, and constantly kept a close eye on him. To this day, he is still wary of the man, but has grown fond of him as he sees him trying to atone for his misdeeds.
Late twenties: The revolution of Ala Mhigo was vastly important to JT for obvious reasons. He went a bit feral during this time, and sort of blasted through without much of a thought. The victory was somehow hollow, as he did not view Ala Mhigo as his home any longer, though he was proud to have liberated his homeland for those who wished to return.
Now: He travels back and forth to the Crystarium, mostly to gather and sell wares in both locations for massive profits. He lingers in Amaurot often, as he had gotten somewhat close to Emet during the travels around Norvrandt. He has some lingering resentment that he had to kill him at all, but he's mostly just sad. He wears Emet's earring as a tribute.
Amaurotine :: In Amaurot, he was known as Archimedes and held the title Deudalaphon of the Convocation. He was not gifted with good creation magick, but mostly dabbled in concepts relating to technology. He invented the Tomephone and the base models of what would later become Magitek by Emet-Selch's hands.
